He has been spotted in everything from Facebook live to professional studio recordings on a variety of guitars (acoustic, electric, classical, bass), vocals, and other instruments (keyboard, ukulele), in a wide range of genres and styles including classical, pop rock, jazz, country, covers, wedding music, to name a few.
He received his BA in music composition and guitar from Asbury College, and continued his studies at The Atlanta Institute of Music where he completed the guitar musicianship program with honors. He has been teaching private lessons steadily since 2001. When teaching, Wes endeavors to chart a course for each student that, as much as possible, is congruent with their personality and interests as well as providing encouragement for the difficult aspects of developing musical skill.
