For students that receive the Pay it Forward scholarship, you’ll continue to receive this as long as you remain eligible (note that the PIF scholarship amount fluctuates year to year). The Sowers Scholarship is separate and IN ADDITION to the Pay It Forward Scholarship.

A Volunteer Day is classified as 1 to 4 hours of volunteer time.  Enrichment Days, Field Trips, Class Parties, Workday, Service Project, etc. count toward this. Additionally, Volunteer Days are per family and not per child. If you have multiple children at Parkview, you can use your family’s volunteer days for all of your Sowers Scholarship eligibility. Please remember to keep track of your family volunteer days.

Submit volunteer days for the family and your receipt for Pay It Forward donation via email to pcsoffice@parkviewchristian.com.

Amazing question! We’d love to see EVERY student getting the $2000 or $3000 scholarship! There are two options to close this gap.

1. You can make a donation to runathon to close the gap. For ex. if you’re approved to donate $1,900 to PIF but you need $2,000 to be eligible for the Silver scholarship, you’ll need $850 in runathon donations instead of $750 to close that gap.
2. To reach the gold & platinum levels, you’ll likely need to own a business or ask family members to join in. A lot of us have parents, grandparents, neighbors, etc in Georgia who would be willing to do a PIF donation. They just need to select “Parkview Christian School” and then send you the proof of donation. It will count toward your child.

If 70% of families participate, the board projects an increase of 10-20% in revenue. That is a SIGNIFICANT increase and will allow us to increase teacher salaries, hire more support staff, expand technology & extracurriculars, and much more!
