Mrs. Joy Gaines was born and raised in Chamblee, Georgia. She is a graduate
of Samford University (BS), Georgia State University (Teaching Certificate), and
University of Southern Mississippi (MA). Her experience includes teaching
HighSchool and Middle School science in Cobb County, Newton County and
Clinton, Mississippi. She also has experience from homeschooling her 3 children
and has taught in various co-ops. Joy is excited to be joining Parkview Christian
as the Middle School Science Teacher.
Having been married almost 30 years, she enjoys time with her husband and
relishes time with her adult children. Joy enjoys reading and discussing books,
listening to music, and traveling. Being involved in their church community is also
a delight for Joy and her husband.
